“Dreams grow when they find new horizons.” By 2025, Khamkheyal had become much more than an annual exhibition. It had grown into a family of artists, entrepreneurs, photographers, performers, volunteers, and visitors who continued to inspire one another. Yet, like every dream that refuses to stand still, Khamkheyal was ready to explore beyond familiar spaces.

The year began on 15th and 16th February with another edition of Barir Khamkheyal, our intimate in-house exhibition where warmth always mattered more than grandeur. It reminded us that no matter how much we grow, our roots will always remain close to home.

Soon after came a milestone we had long dreamed of—our first exhibition outside Kolkata.

Art-e-Basanta in Santiniketan was not simply a new venue; it was the beginning of a new chapter. Surrounded by the artistic spirit of Santiniketan, the exhibition brought together lifestyle brands, open mic performances, and creative exchanges with local students and artists. The experience was refreshing, inspiring, and deeply meaningful. It proved that creativity knows no boundaries and that the language of art can connect people across cities.

Another special initiative that found its place in our journey was Barir Khamkheyal at Aparajita’s House. It celebrated not just products but the people behind them. Every artisan carried a story, every handmade creation reflected dedication, and every entrepreneur found a platform where their work was valued with sincerity. Supporting homegrown creators had always been one of Khamkheyal’s strongest beliefs, and this gathering beautifully reflected that philosophy.

From 4th to 6th April, Art-e-Boishakh returned at Nirmal Bhavan, Surya Sen Street. Lifestyle brands, performances, conversations, and open mic sessions once again welcomed visitors into a celebration of creativity and culture.

Community initiatives continued alongside our exhibitions.

On 3rd May, another Blood Donation Camp “রক্ত থাক সম্প্রীতিতে“was organised at Sealdah Sports and Cultural Association, followed by Khelar Chhole on 8th June at the Kutchina Foundation, where children between the ages of four and twelve spent a joyful day learning, playing, and creating memories.

The year reached another unforgettable milestone from 5th to 7th September as Art & Autumn expanded across both floors of Gallery Gold. The exhibition had grown significantly over the years, welcoming a larger family of entrepreneurs, artists, photographers, and performers.

One of the proudest moments came when the three pillars of Chandrabindoo—Anindya Chattopadhyay, Upal Sengupta, and Chandril Bhattacharya—visited the exhibition. Their presence was not merely a memorable occasion; it felt like a heartfelt recognition of how far Khamkheyal had come.

By the end of the year, one thing had become clear.

Khamkheyal was no longer travelling alone.

Every new city carried our story a little further.

Every new visitor became part of our family.

Every new artist strengthened our belief that dreams are meant to be shared.
