Part IV [Chapter 2 : The Story Continues… (2026)]

“The most beautiful stories never really end. They simply find new chapters.”

The journey into 2026 began with something delightfully different.Khamkheyal’s Choruibhati brought together friends, laughter, food, games, and countless memories at Pushpalata Garden, Rajarhat. It was a reminder that before we are organisers, exhibitors, or volunteers, we are people who cherish spending time together.

On 1st February, Khelar Chhole returned once again, this time at Mitra Institution. Children filled the day with curiosity, creativity, teamwork, and endless smiles, reminding us why this initiative continues to hold such a special place in our hearts.

The warmth of Barir Khamkheyal returned on 28th February and 1st March, introducing an open-terrace exhibition for the very first time. Beautiful decorations, thoughtfully designed spaces, lifestyle brands, and open mic performances transformed the terrace into a place where art felt wonderfully close to nature. Decoration has always been an integral part of Khamkheyal, and every little detail reflected the love and dedication of our team.

10th to 12th April came one of our biggest milestones yet—Art-e-Boishakh at Nazrul Mancha.

It was more than a successful exhibition.

It was a celebration of how far Khamkheyal had travelled.

Artists, entrepreneurs, performers, and visitors came together to create three unforgettable days filled with creativity, business, culture, and connection. Watching independent brands flourish in such a prestigious venue reminded us why we had started this journey in the first place.

On 24th May, our annual Blood Donation Camp “রক্ত থাক সম্প্রীতিতে” continued at Sealdah Sports and Cultural Association, reinforcing a tradition that has become inseparable from Khamkheyal’s identity. We introduced practical workshops on CPR and First Aid, empowering participants with essential emergency response skills and reinforcing our belief that awareness and preparedness can save lives.

Khamkheyal presents: Boro Der Chhuti Chhuti: On 2nd August, 2026 an evening of stories, frames, and reflections mixed for a unique gathering that blends cinema and photography into one immersive experience.

Film Screening – “Beyond the Cliff” Directed by David Naskar, this documentary explores resilience, nature, and the human spirit.

Photo Adda – Africa Through the Lens Saswati Chakraborty takes us on a visual journey across Africa, capturing its wilderness and soul.

Through the Khamkheyal Lens: On World Photography Day, Khamkheyal turned its lens towards the little moments that often escape our notice.

Photographs arrived from different eyes and different perspectives, each frame carrying its own story. From quiet details to fleeting moments, the competition became a celebration of the art of seeing.

And then came the moment of celebration—the winners were announced, along with five honorary mentions whose photographs left a special mark.

Beyond the prizes and recognition, this chapter of Khamkheyal was about something simpler: pausing, looking closely, and finding a story in a single frame.

And as we write these words, we eagerly look forward to another edition of Art & Autumn, scheduled for 9th, 10th, and 11th October, 2026 at Gallery Gold.

Another exhibition.

Another gathering.

Another opportunity to create memories.

But certainly not the destination.

Because every event simply becomes another page in a story that continues to grow.

Epilogue

Why We Still Call Ourselves Khamkheyal

People often ask what makes Khamkheyal different.

Description: No photo description available. Is it our exhibitions? The artists? The entrepreneurs? The music? The books? The photography? The community initiatives?

The answer has always been the same.

It is the people.

Every exhibition is built by countless helping hands. Every artist brings a dream. Every entrepreneur brings years of dedication. Every volunteer gives their time with love. And every visitor leaves behind a memory that becomes part of our story.

From art exhibitions and open mics to book gatherings, children’s events, blood donation camps, and safety workshops, every initiative has been guided by one simple belief—that meaningful communities are built through creativity, compassion, and togetherness.

Khamkheyal has never been just an event. It is a family that continues to grow, one artist, one entrepreneur, one volunteer, and one story at a time.

The story is still being written.
And the most beautiful chapters are yet to come.

A Letter from Khamkheyal

Dear You,

Yes, you.

Whether you have exhibited your work, performed on our stage, volunteered behind the scenes, donated blood, visited an exhibition, or have only just discovered us—welcome.

Khamkheyal has never been defined by venues or events. It has always been defined by people.

Thank you for believing in us, growing with us, and making this journey meaningful. Every smile, every conversation, every shared dream has shaped who we are today. As we move forward, we hope you’ll continue walking beside us—with your art, your ideas, your stories, or simply your presence.

Because Khamkheyal belongs to everyone who has ever believed that creativity has the power to bring people together.

With gratitude and love,

Team Khamkheyal
