The countdown begins with the entire team camping at KhamKheyal Bari, which slowly transforms into a lively picnic spot. Days merge into nights as everyone works till midnight (and often beyond), surviving on endless cups of tea and unlimited enthusiasm. Workstations become dining tables, discussions continue over meals, and sleep is just an optional activity. Everyone eats together, laughs together, argues together and somehow wakes up the next morning ready for another round. Unexpectedly, despite the legendary close-fisted manager-duo: Samit-Rohit, keeping a close watch on the budget, delicious food of every imaginable variety keeps appearing on the table!

Art Mela: Where Creativity Wins Every Battle

The Decoration Team turns into a miniature handicraft fair. Badges, props, signboards and decorations are handcrafted with love—and a generous amount of disagreement. Every colour choice sparks a debate, every design invites criticism, and every decoration has at least five “better” alternatives. Yet, after countless arguments and endless brainstorming, they somehow create decorations that leave visitors wondering, “Who made these masterpieces?”

No Indian news debate can compete with a KhamKheyal planning session. “Ghontar por Ghonta shonge Khamkheyal!!” One suggestion leads to ten opinions, ten opinions become twenty interruptions, and before anyone knows it, voices are louder than microphones. Friendly disagreements occasionally resemble parliamentary sessions, complete with dramatic reactions and expert analyses. Please don’t be surprised to see Bitan-Dipankar fighting their kidneys and lungs out during such sessions!! Every rehearsal has its own soundtrack, thanks to the unofficial musical duo—Bitan and Archishmita. Their confidence in singing is directly proportional to everyone else’s desire for earplugs! Whether anyone requests it or not, their performances echo across every corner of the venue. The duo call it practice, the sane minds call it noise pollution—but one thing is certain: silence is never an option when these two are around.

As the exhibition draws nearer, smiles slowly give way to anxious faces. Will visitors come? Will exhibitors be happy? Will everything be ready on time? Every member becomes an overthinker overnight. Last-minute phone calls, checklist revisions and endless worrying become the order of the day. Ironically, the same people who laughed through the preparations now suddenly become experts in stress management—or rather, stress creation!
