If there was one year that transformed Khamkheyal, it was 2022.

The year began with another opportunity to bring people together. On 12th and 13th March, our Studio Floor once again came alive with a Khamkheyal exhibition featuring lifestyle brands, photography, paintings, a book exhibition, and open mic performances. Every corner reflected creativity, while every conversation strengthened the bond between artists, entrepreneurs, and visitors.

For us, exhibitions had never been only about displaying products or artwork. They were about creating spaces where stories could be shared, friendships could blossom, and dreams could receive encouragement.

Soon after, Khamkheyal stepped into an entirely new chapter.

On 8th May 2022, we organised our first blood donation camp, “রক্ত থাক সম্প্রীতিতে“. It was one of the most emotional milestones in our journey. Watching people come forward to donate blood reminded us that building a community is not only about celebrating creativity—it is also about standing together when someone needs us the most.

That single initiative became the beginning of a tradition that continues even today.

As the months passed, our love for photography found another beautiful expression.

From 19th to 22nd August 2022, we organised the first edition of “মুহূর্ত” (Muhurta), a dedicated photography exhibition that brought together many eminent photographers alongside passionate storytellers behind the lens. Every photograph carried an emotion, every frame captured a memory, and every visitor discovered that photography is not just about images—it is about preserving moments that can never be recreated.

Then came one of the biggest milestones in the history of Khamkheyal.

From 23rd to 25th September 2022, we organised the very first edition of Art & Autumn at Gallery Gold.

was much more than another exhibition.

Independent lifestyle brands, artists, photographers, performers, musicians, poets, and visitors came together to celebrate creativity under one roof. Open mic sessions filled the space with music, poetry, stories, and laughter. Small entrepreneurs proudly displayed their handcrafted products, while visitors spent time listening to the stories behind every creation.

Some came to shop.

Some came to perform.

Some came to appreciate art.

Many simply came to spend time.

Everyone left carrying memories.

Looking back today, Art N Autumn became far more than an annual exhibition.

It became one of the strongest identities of Khamkheyal.

By the end of 2022, we realised that something remarkable had happened.

What had started as a handful of friends with shared passions was slowly becoming a platform for artists, entrepreneurs, photographers, writers, musicians, and dreamers from different walks of life.

The year had given us confidence.

It had given us direction.

Most importantly, it had given us wings.

And with those wings, Khamkheyal was ready to dream even bigger.

The years ahead would prove that our journey was no longer only about organising events.

It was about building a family that continued to grow with every exhibition, every initiative, and every person who chose to become part of it.
