Khamkheyal, established in 2019, is a community driven organisation where we provide a vibrant, accessible platform for self taught grassroot creators who share an equal mindset of creating a community where people connect through photography, literature, art and culture. We create that space where raw talents are finally seen, valued and deeply celebrated cause every soul has a story to tell.
Our community outreach programmes have always tried to embrace people of all ages and from all spheres of life and hence alongwith encouraging artists in our Open Mic events and entrepreneurs for Art E Boisakh and Art n Autumn, we also curate programmes like Khelar Chhole (a fun filled one day camp for the young generations), Barir Khamkheyal (this is an emotional journey of sorts,which has to be experienced to feel the essence), Art N Adda ( hearty conversations on myriad of untold topics with eminent personalities) , Goppogacha o Boi ( storytelling sessions) Blood Donation Drive , and our very much treasured Muhurto Photo Festival.
What We Do
If you ask us about the nature of our business, we honestly can’t give you a straightforward answer. It’s quite complex, so we prefer to call it a “socio-business,” where the well-being of society is our primary goal. We organize various awareness events, including blood donations, art exhibitions and sales, photography exhibitions, and numerous talk shows. Our aim is to spread the message of friendship and togetherness across the world.
Our Achievement
Our greatest achievement is our team. We began with just 4 members, and now our core team has grown to nearly 30. We started with 6 exhibitors and have expanded to 26. From zero, we’ve built a social media following of almost 3,000. We’ve received immense love, affection, trust, proactive support, and encouragement. All other achievements, like awards and acknowledgments, are secondary to this.
